November: 7 Months Old, First Trip to Springfield and First Thanksgiving

The boys turned 7 months old in November. November seemed to go by very fast but was pretty uneventful other than our trip to Springfield. We went to my grandparent's house for the whole week of Thanksgiving. It was the boys' first time going to their house. We had so much fun and enjoyed being there. The boys were both sick while we were gone but not the entire time. Jackson was sick on Thanksgiving day through the rest of our trip. He ran a fever for a few days and threw up a couple times. We thought he might be teething but her never did get any teeth. Jacob threw up on our way to Mama and Papa's. We were about two hours away and Justin had just fed them a bottle and came back up to the front seat...I was driving. Then all of a sudden I heard Jacob throw up and Justin looked back and told me to pull over. He had thrown up everywhere. There was so much. Poor thing I felt so bad for him but he didn't throw up any more. I'm not sure what that was all about. Then Jacob woke up the day we left and didn't have a voice. He was pretty sick the rest of the week. While we were in Springfield we went to Silver Dollar City and to a show. The boys were absolute angels the whole time while traveling so much. We had a lot of fun.

The boys had carrots and pears for the first time in November. They were ok with carrots but loved pears. The boys are definitely established on a nice routine now but are also able to adjust on days that we are out and about. They usually wake up between 8 and 9, have breakfast, play time, bottle (6oz), nap of about 1 1/2 - 2 hours, lunch, play time, bottle (6oz), nap 2-3 hours, dinner, bottle (7oz), bed around 8 or 9. They usually have bananas, applesauce and oatmeal for breakfast and then some sort of veggie for lunch and dinner.

On the 11th we put up our Christmas decorations. The boys sat in their swings and watched and Justin and I put everything up. It was so special because last year as we put the tree up we talked about how we would have two little boys with us the next year and here we were putting up our decorations with our two precious babies. The boys also got their own tree in their room. It is going to be such a special Christmas.

By the end of the month...

Jackson: Sticks tongue out and blows bubbles, squeals and starting to roll more and more. He still LOVE LOVE LOVES his two fingers on his left hand.He still does not like to be held too much. His favorite toy is still Sofie. He loves clapping his feet. It makes him smile every time no matter what. He is getting closer to sitting up alone. He's not quite there but getting stronger. He is also getting very strong on his legs. He will pull up on his own if I hold his hands. I love to hear him laugh...he belly laughs when being tickled. He is ticklish behind his ear, his feet, thigh and tummy.

Jacob:Loves to be on the floor where he can just roll roll roll. He also loves to be held upside down...thanks to Aunt Tia. :) He still doesn't like to be held too much. We got the boys a Bumbo this month and Jacob really likes sitting up and looking around. He loves to play peek-a-boo and is attached to this certain pair of play keys that we have. He will take them from Jackson if he sees them. He is getting closer to sitting up along but not quite there. He is getting very strong on his legs though. He loves standing up if I just hold his hands. He will do it all by himself. I love seeing him smile with his two little bottom front teeth sticking out. Such a sweet baby. Jacob got to try my homemade noodles and Mama's sweet potatoes on Thanksgiving day. Jackson was sleeping through dinner since he didn't feel good.

What another great month! Here are some pictures...
