July Overview

July was a fun month. The boys turned 3 months old and we took our first road trip and went to St. Louis. I have already posted about our trip but the boys were so awesome on the road. We had a lot of fun letting everyone meet the boys for the first time. The boys were sleeping through the night completely in July. They were in June as well with a few nights up for adjusting the swaddle blanket. By July they were sleeping all night every night without me getting up for anything. They still wanted to be swaddled when sleeping and sometimes even if they were just upset, they would calm down if they were swaddled. They started kicking out of the swaddle a little more but still liked to be put to sleep swaddled. I started putting them down for naps here and there with a blanket just laid on them but still swaddled most of the time. Jacob was taking anywhere from 4-6 ounces of formula and Jackson was taking 6 ounces every time. Jacob has always been a little behind Jackson with eating. Jacob will stop when he is done and kick the bottle out of his mouth with his tongue. Jackson on the other hand would drink a whole carton worth of formula without stopping but tends to spit up when he has had too much. He just doesn't stop when he is full. There wasn't too much else that we did in July other than our road trip. Here are some random pictures from July.

Sweet Little Jacob

These outfits came from everyone at URS.

Jacob wasn't too happy about it. :)

Momma and her babies. :)

First time in their highchairs. We decided to start sitting the boys in their highchairs when Justin and I sit and have dinner. It is important to us to have dinner together at the table and it is never too early to start teaching the boys. They love to just sit there and play with their toys and watch/listen to Justin and I as we talk about the day. They are such good little boys.

Aunt Tia put Jackson on the jungle and I walked into the kitchen to get something and walked back into the living room and this is how I found him. This was the first time he scooted completely off of the jungle
