We had the boys' first birthday party the weekend before their birthday because the church was not available the weekend of their birthday. So we decided to leave for the beach on their birthday and spend the next week at Panama City Beach. Before we left that night though we went to Mimi and Poppy's house to celebrate the boys' birthday again on their actual birthday, April 5th. We had dinner and cake, opened gifts and then hit the road for the beach. If only they knew how great it is to leave for the beach on your birthday.
