First Hair Cut

Back in March the boys got their first hair cut. I waited as long as I could because Jackson really didn't have that much hair but Jacobs was getting really long. I decided to get them hair cuts a couple weeks before their birthday so that it would look nice for pictures but wouldn't have that "just cut" look. I wanted my friend Tonya to be the one to cut the boys hair for the first time. Tonya is more than just a friend and has done my hair since I was a teenager. It was only right that she be the one to share in this special moment with us. It was so nice and relaxed. They boys actually did pretty well. I sat and held them on my lap while Tonya cut their hair.

18 Month Pictures

When the boys turned 18 months old we took them to get their pictures made. Tiffany with Shutter Sprite Photography has again proven herself as an absolutely wonderful photographer. The boys were not happy at all the entire time we were trying to get pictures. I tried all day long to keep them on a perfect schedule so they would be both full and well rested when we went to have our pictures made but all my efforts did not pay off. At last Tiffany pulled through as a genius and captured the essence of our boys. I finally told her that I knew we would not get a perfectly posed shot but all I really wanted was to capture them at this moment in time and she did that perfectly.
